European Patent Attorney Aušra Pakėnienė has more than 20 years of experience in the field of trademark and design protection. She is responsible for the registration of national, European and international trademarks and designs, responds to inquiries and negative rulings of Patent Bureau experts, prepares protests and answers them. She also advises Lithuanian and foreign companies on issues of protection of trademarks and designs and protection of rights, represents clients in disputes concerning trademark registration and trademark infringement at the State Patent Bureau (SPB), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the courts.
• Advised and represented an international company focused on pharmaceuticals in the European Court of Justice in a case concerning a preliminary ruling on the issue of a supplementary protection certificate.
• Advised clients, prepared documents for SITA (Science, Innovation and Technologies Agency) support for registration of designs.
