Senior Associate Kristīne Ostrovska specializes in trademark and design prosecution and enforcement matters. She is responsible for advising clients on registration issues of trademarks and industrial designs, consulting clients regarding formation and management of trademark and design portfolio, preparing and filling oppositions and replies to the oppositions, representing clients before Latvian Patent Office (LPO), World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) and European Union Intellectual Property Organization (EUIPO).

• Advised well known Latvian bread and pastry manufacturer in trademark, design portfolio strategy and development
• Represented one of the biggest Russian cosmetics company in trademark prosecution in the EU and other jurisdictions as well as handled several oppositions
• Worldwide project on trademark registrations in all possible world jurisdictions for one of the biggest Latvian banks and Russian telecommunication provider
• Involved in several land-mark cases defending client’s trademark registerability with the EUIPO and Latvian Patent Office
